Next Steps

We will initially conduct a telephone interview and if successful, next steps will be a dry side and wet side interview. During this process we will, along with you, identify if the role is suitable.

You will be invited to a minimum of 10 hours shadowing one or more of our experienced teachers before attending the 5-day baby and pre-school course. The course is demanding, but we aim to make it fun too as we know we will get the best from you by doing this.

The course is underpinned by the Swimming Teacher Association and enhanced with our Swimkidz training which includes advanced knowledge on baby and child development. Once qualified, you will be assigned a mentor to prepare you for taking your own lessons. We offer continuous professional development which can lead to you taking the Level 3 Diploma in baby and pre-school teaching, the highest level that can be achieved in the industry.
