The opportunity:
Swimkidz North Wessex is an established and highly regarded swim school that deliver quality swimming lessons in Newbury. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Pool Helper to support the swimming teachers in delivering these our quality lessons. This opportunity will not only deliver good financial rates of pay but also provides a very high degree of job satisfaction along with an amazing opportunity to progress to become a fully qualified swimming teacher.

Role description:
This fun and very rewarding role will require you to:
- To assist the qualified swimming teacher, deliver our structured program in a fun and engaging manner. The role will require for you to work from within the swimming pool.
- Working with the teacher and with guidance on a 1:1 basis or sub-groups, to share knowledge and skills.
- Under guidance from the swimming teacher be able to explain to swimmers what skills they need to perform, breaking it down where necessary.
- Confidently and inclusively, you will perform demonstrations of the activities the children need to undertake so they fully understand both verbally and visually what the tasks are.
- AWork with the teacher and other team members to ensure health and safety is always adhered to. This includes the management of kit poolside to ensure no trip hazards.
